LGC’s Business License software was developed using the latest cloud technologies and tools, giving you access to business profiles with a click of a button, and helpful features that interface directly with the Tennessee Department of Revenue Portal. You may access information by a variety of criteria including business location, owner, and contact data. Lookup features make searching for business information quick and easy. Business License calculates business license fees based upon gross receipts. It allows you to place a business license application on hold until proper payment can be received from the business owner. The software calculates and applies penalty and interest charges for delinquent taxes, and it automatically generates business tax forms for license renewal. A special tax collection screen is provided for trade shows, special events, and transient vendors.
LGC’s City Traffic Reporting & Information System (CTRIS) is designed to manage court cases coming in through the city court by tracking traffic citations, city ordinances, field interviews, warnings, voids, and animal control cases. CTRIS creates a court docket that can be printed or sorted in order of officer’s name, judge’s name, attorney’s name, by time of the case, or by other variables. The software automatically calculates costs based on TCA codes or city ordinance codes. Court costs are distributed to proper agencies with detailed reports such as the State Litigation Report. The software tracks accounts receivable, can accept partial payments, and will print payment notices and cost bills. A cash drawer checkout accounts for all revenue collected daily.

DELTA Business License utilizes setup tables with site specific information according to local regulations. LGC’s Miscellaneous Receipting software is designed to collect revenue for service and product sales that do not fit within other applications such as Courts, Property Tax, Utility Billing, etc. Some examples of this include recreation fees, employee insurance, water taps, deposits, rentals and leases, accident reports, fines, permits, and taxes. Revenues are collected through a point-of sale system allowing for a receipt to be printed and the ability to endorse checks and validate stubs. The system will automatically compute the customer’s change and all entries can be updated to the General Ledger. Extensive security features allow securing cash drawers by cashier and cashiers can balance and close their cash drawers at any time. Cash drawer overages and shortages can be tracked to the cashier level.

Meanwhile, reports are extensive, from monthly and yearly reports to property tax reports that can be printed in name, receipt, or parcel number order. Tax aggregate auditing and reporting features are thorough, and the software offers the ability to transfer delinquent tax information to the State of Tennessee and to the Clerk & Master.
LGC’s Utility Billing software is a complete solution to handle all facets of electric, gas, water, sewer, and sanitation billing. It keeps extensive histories about each account and the lookup features provide easy access to account information. It allows for batch processing for readings, billing, receipting and penalties. Utility bills can be CASS-certified and printed with postal bar-codes to assure less expensive and more accurate delivery. The software can create, track, and receipt service orders.
