LGC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Proposal Specialist to join our team!
LGC is a trusted one-stop technology partner for local governments in the Tennessee Valley — providing financial and revenue management software, human resource solutions, payment systems, computer hardware and networking, cybersecurity services, and website design.
In this role, you’ll support the sales process by managing quote requests, preparing sales proposals, maintaining accurate CRM data, processing orders, and providing clear, timely communication with customers. You will also coordinate internal communications, assist with formal RFPs, and ensure all administrative details are handled with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customer data in the CRM system
- Receive, respond to, and track quote requests
- Prepare and send accurate sales proposals and supporting documentation
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy
- Provide timely communication to customers about quotes and orders
- Act as the central point of contact for employee requests and questions
- Collaborate with Marketing, Hardware, and Finance teams to support the sales cycle
- Assist with the preparation of formal RFP responses
- Keep quote templates current with up-to-date hardware specifications

Job Title: Site Consultant
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Local Government Corporation (LGC) is seeking a highly motivated Site Consultant to maintain and develop customer relationships in Middle Tennessee and Alabama.
The primary focus of this position is to consult with county and municipal governments regarding LGC’s products and services, which include financial and revenue management software, human resource solutions, payment solutions, computers and networking, cybersecurity services, and website design.
Candidate must be self-disciplined, self-motivated, technologically proficient, goal oriented, and have good time management and communication skills. Experience working within municipal and county budgeting guidelines is a plus.
Site Consultant’s work from their home office and travel to customers sites daily.
Some overnight travel is required.

We are seeking to hire a Software Developer to create and maintain software applications working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Required skills include C#.NET, Angular, ASP.NET Core MVC, SQL Server. Experience with Git and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus. Must have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated. Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently when appropriate and be accountable to your teammates. Our development team members work remotely from their home offices.
Job Title: Technical Services Representative
Reports To: Technical Services Manager
Responsibilities:
Will provide hardware and technical support to LGC customers in Tennessee.
Work will primarily be assigned to the Middle TN customer base.
The ideal candidate will be located in Lawrence or Giles county
Will work independently.
Provide training to new employees.
Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
Maintain and repair equipment (e.g. routers), printers or peripheral devices
Install LAN/WAN and other networks (servers, IPs etc.)
Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly
Provide on site or phone support in other areas where needed.
Mentor other hardware reps including assistance with scheduling and providing specialized training.
Manage satellite office in their region for neatness, equipment deployment, etc.
Look for opportunities to market LGC products and services.
Conduct preventative hardware maintenance in customer sites.
Keep accurate records and submit appropriate paperwork.
Technical Abilities:
Proven experience as computer technician or similar role
Experience with LAN/WAN networks
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Very good communication abilities
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage
Daily travel will be required with company provided transportation
Experience:
Background in assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing computers and computer related equipment.
Other Skills:
Interpersonal and communication skills are needed for customer interaction.
