Position Overview

We are seeking an Implementation and Support Specialist to join our team, providing installation, training, and support for accounting software to customers in the West Tennessee region. Ideal candidates will possess an accounting degree or relevant experience with financial software, including general ledger reporting, payroll, and accounts payable.

Details

• Location: West Tennessee (Remote work from home office)
• Travel: Travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays (Travel expenses and cell/internet reimbursed – Laptop provided)
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with hours based on customer needs (Typically between 6 AM – 6 PM, Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Install and train users on various governmental software and modules.
• Provide on-site, telephone, and remote support, troubleshooting customer issues related to software and occasionally hardware.
• Diagnose and replicate reported problems, documenting all site visits, calls, and resolutions electronically.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Accounting degree preferred or experience with financial software (general ledger, payroll, accounts payable).
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Windows.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, able to work independently, with a positive attitude and strong people skills.
• Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

We are seeking to hire a Software Developer to create and maintain software applications working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Required skills include C#.NET, Angular, ASP.NET Core MVC, SQL Server. Experience with Git and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus. Must have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated. Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently when appropriate and be accountable to your teammates. Our development team members work remotely from their home offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support for complex issues within government accounting/financial software.
• Provide support, install, upgrade, and trouble shoot technical issues on Windows machines.
• Ensure customers’ support issues are resolved properly and documented in a timely manner with an emphasis on excellence.
• Support customers through incoming calls and emails.
• Ensure ongoing projects and special projects are completed on a weekly basis.

Primary Requirements:
